OUR LEADERSHIP
General Construction Service is family owned and operated. Growing up, both Richard's father and uncles before him were builders. Prior to founding General Construction Service, Richard learned the business from the ground up, having worked in site development, construction management, and as a superintendent and project manager in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and Ohio.

OUR MISSION
With wife Meg at the administrative helm, we’re determined to remain a “hands-on” company. We believe in being on site every day, applying our family values to each and every project. We are immersed in what we do, constructing each project like it was our own. Putting our principles to work allows us to take great pride in the finished results of all our efforts, regardless of size or expense.

OUR SPECIALTY
We are highly experienced within the health care industry. Having adopted strict guidelines for transition projects, we are uniquely skilled at working in close proximity to both residents and employees while renovations to existing structures are completed. We strive to meet our deadlines in the most timely fashion, with minimal disruption to people and places. We work hard to ensure the comfort of all.
